Family Academies

Mr. Carter Akins, Principal, is excited to announce Family Academies for 2019 – 2020. Parents and guardians are invited to attend these family engagement events sponsored by Title I, learn more about the topics presented, and ask questions about C.B. Greer. For families unable to attend, a summary will be posted to the website for review. A class Family Academy will be a time for school staff to teach families and will likely include a class presentation and handouts. A workshop Family Academy, commonly known as Bring Your Parent to School, will be a time for families to interact within the classroom by attending class with their child to learn more about the selected topic. C.B. Greer Elementary looks forward to working with families through Family Academies.
