C. B. Greer School Counseling Program Mission Statement:

The mission of C. B. Greer's school counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, personal/social, and career development of all students. The school counselor will seek to build caring relationships with all students. In partnership with teachers, administrators, parents, and our community, the school counselor will help all students be successful life-long learners, problem solvers, and compassionate citizens of the world.  

C. B. Greer School Counseling Program Vision Statement:

The students at C. B. Greer Elementary School are compassionate thinkers who are prepared to meet the challenges and expectations of society. All students participate in rigorous learning experiences and personal growth supported by the school counseling program. As successful, life-long learners and responsible world citizens, our students achieve their fullest potential, making a positive difference in our school and community. 

C. B. Greer School Counseling Program Goals:

• Personal/Social: Through classroom counseling lessons, smalls groups, individual counseling, and PBIS, students will acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and interpersonal skills to help them understand and respect self and others.
• Academic: All students will be assessed through the MTSS process. Students who need extra support will receive academic assistance through MTSS, gifted, and/or 504 programs.
• Career: Through classroom counseling lessons and activities, students will acquire the skills to investigate the world of work in relation to knowledge of self and to make informed career decisions.
