Hi Virtual Learners!
Thank you for sharing your Poppy Paintings with me! As I mentioned in my week 2 video, art today will be a "catch-up" day, as most of my classes are needing 3 class periods to finish their poppy flower paintings. Double check that your artwork is showing space and depth by:
1. Alternating sizes of flowers (Big to small, Near to far)
2. Lightening Color (Dark to Light, Near to far)
3. Positioning Flowers in Correct Spaces (Big flowers at bottom, Far flowers higher on paper)
4. Details (Details close-up, Fuzzy and blurry details far away).
These "tricks" will help to illustrate lots of space on your paper!
Please complete Poppy Flower picture today and post to the Google Stream, so everyone can admire your work!
Finish early? Perhaps challenge yourself to draw Poppy flowers like famous artist, Georgia O'Keeffe! Draw them BIG and ZOOM in! Review slide #14 on Google Slides Presentation, and check out the fun Bonus Links on the Google Classroom STREAM.
