Welcome to Fourth Grade!
This year, we will be learning in room 110 on the 4th/5th grade hallway. This means that your student is now a role model at our school. Thank you for supporting our procedures, policies, and expectations at CB Greer Elementary! I'm looking forward to a great year!
Student Supplies
Individual Student Supplies:
-Scissors
-Glue Stick
-2 packs #2 Pencils
-1 zippered pencil pouch (no boxes, please)
-1 handheld personal pencil sharpener
-1 pack dry erase markers
-1 dry eraser
-1 set of personal earbuds
Classroom Supplies:
-tissues
-paper towels
-disinfecting wipes
-individually wrapped class snacks/candy
Grading and Attendance
Your student will be earning 'letter' grades for the first time this year. Good study habits and consistency will help your child earn and maintain good grades. In the 4th and 5th grades, students are held accountable for daily assignments, group projects, homework, and appropriate classroom behavior. We have fun and challenging days in 4th grade, and I am looking forward to an incredible year with your child. This year will be an adventure in growing, learning, and changing the world!
We have a fast-paced, rigorous, critical thinking curriculum. Please be diligent in attendance, and please encourage your student to be prepared each day.
