Parent Academy, 2017 - 2018

Mr. Carter Akins, Principal, is excited to announce Parent Academies for 2017 – 2018. Parents and guardians are invited to attend, learn more about the topics presented, and ask questions about C.B. Greer. For parents unable to attend, a summary will be posted to the website for review.

Safety

School safety is of utmost importance. C.B. Greer Families are invited to Parent Academy: Safety to learn more about the efforts taken to keep students safe. This 45-minute session will enlighten families on current practices and afford time for individuals to ask questions.

Reading & Achieve3000

Students in Grades 3 – 5, have the opportunity to practice their non-fiction reading with Achieve3000, an online reading program. This 45-minute session will review how students use Achieve3000 at school and how parents can help their student improve in their reading comprehension.

Preparing for the Georgia Milestones

Parents and guardians of students in Grades 3 – 5 are invited to attend this session to learn about the upcoming assessment and how they can prepare their student for the 2018 Georgia Milestones.
